The Lacquer time! I have a review here on the matte balms if you are interested!
But today we are talking about the other side of Revlon's new ColorBurst collection. That I must add is not limited edition! So no rush!
I choose four colors
Coquette: A cool toned barbie pink
Whimsical: A glittery deep berry
Flirtatious: A deep magenta
Demure: A classic pink nude
The lacquer balms varied in pigmentation depending on the shade. Although most were pigmented, some applied shearer than others.
These balms definitely had a moisturizing feel and gave a glossy shine to the lips. Some shades like whimsical and flirtatious stained my lips after many hours of wear. Where as coquette and demure wore off easily and didn't leave much behind. After eight hours of wear with each, they wore well but unfortunately transferred easily when eating or drinking. I did like having these in my purse because they were super easy to apply and carry around.
Overall, I would say these are a great buy since there are many shades to choose from. The wear time is nice and the color payoff is good.
Overall Grade: B+
